For large-scale systems between 80,000L and 1,500,000L, the Protector P120–P1500 delivers industrial-grade chemical-free water treatment. These units combine cyclonic filtration, magnesium anodes, stainless steel micron filters, and neodymium magnets to maintain clean, non-corrosive water while optimising system efficiency. Designed for district heating networks, closed loop hydronic systems, and large commercial boilers, the P120–P1500 ensures VDI 2035 compliance and long-term reliability.
IWTM Protector™ P120 - P1500
The IWTM Protector™ P120 - P1500 saves space and costs on large scale heating or cooling networks that require operation to the VDI 2035 standard, by using one reaction tank to cover from 120m³ to 1500m³, within the range of 7 different sized models.
We have developed the P120-P1500 to complement our high temperature/high pressure industrial range that we have historically used for large scale district heat networks. The P120 to P1500 standard design is to work on the lower operating temperatures and pressures that many modern heat networks require.
As standard the units are designed to operate at 10 bar and a maximum 90⁰C, with BMS connections available for the anode output, we also have options for the range as below:
